Responsibilities:
1.
Perform complex electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks in accordance with national and local codes.
2.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems, including issues with transformers, wiring, and power distribution.
3.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
4.
Perform calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
5.
Develop and modify PLC programs to improve system efficiency and safety.
6.
Conduct electrical safety inspections and training to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
7.
Perform rigorous electrical testing to ensure systems are in good working order.
8.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues.
9.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
10.
Maintain industrial equipment and perform transformer maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
11.
Collaborate with the maintenance team and other departments to improve processes and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
1.
A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
2.
Proficient in electrical systems troubleshooting, repair, and installation.
3.
Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment calibration.
4.
Knowledge and experience with PLC programming.
5.
Strong understanding of electrical safety and power distribution.
6.
Ability to perform electrical testing and read electrical schematics.
7.
Familiarity with safety protocols and blueprint reading.
8.
Experience with industrial equipment maintenance and transformer maintenance.
9.
Proficient in electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
10.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
11.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
12.
Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the job, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
13.
Electrical certification or equivalent qualification is preferred.
