Maintenance Stationary Engineer

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity as a Maintenance Stationary Engineer at Montana State Hospital.
Maintenance Stationary Engineers are responsible for maintaining a watch on all low-pressure boilers on Campus; maintaining all related boiler room equipment; monitoring a variety of Hospital equipment such as refrigeration systems, heating systems, fire alarm systems, and diesel fuel tanks; and sterilizing medical waste.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity:
Ability to test and analyze operation of steam boilers and auxiliary equipment.
Strong working knowledge of the principles of boiler operations and safety.
Strong working knowledge of heating plant operations.
Strong working knowledge of state laws and regulations governing boiler operations.
Must be proficient in the use of common hand and power tools (electric and pneumatic).
Must be proficient in use of auxiliary equipment used for boiler operations.
Ability to learn basic computer skills to adjust heat and cooling set points.
Meet the following minimum
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must have a Montana 3rd Class Boiler license.

Additional InformationThis position may be eligible for a statutory $1.
50 an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2024.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
